
Bergeron Marketing LLC principal Ed Bergeron's thirty-year professional career includes marketing and public affairs management positions in public transportation, municipal government, and private industry. He is a founding member of Oregon's Partners for High Speed Rail, the Transportation Alternatives Group of Oregon, and the American Marketing Association's Southwest Oregon Chapter. He serves on the Oregon Transportation Commission's Passenger Rail Advisory Council, and is a director of the Oregon Transit Association. He is a past president of the Convention & Visitors Association of Lane County, Oregon, the Springfield Oregon Chamber of Commerce, the University of Oregon Alumni Association National Board of Directors, and the Southwest Oregon Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Ed maintains his expertise in marketing, business affairs and consulting through affiliation with the Institute of Management Consultants, the American Marketing Association, the American Public Transportation Association, the Oregon Transit Association, the Oregon Association of Rail and Transit Advocates, the Transportation Alternatives Group of Oregon, the International Association for Public Participation, the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, the Eugene Chamber of Commerce, and the Convention and Visitors Association of Lane County, Oregon.
Ed has an MBA from the University of Oregon, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing from Michigan State University. He is a graduate of the American Public Transit Association's Transit Managerial Effectiveness Program, and Sales & Marketing Executives International's Sales Workshop. Ed is also an outdoor enthusiast and an avid downhill skier, who has carved turns on the slopes of over forty ski areas throughout North America.
